ADULT SURF SKATE

SUMMER EVENING COURSES

As we move into the long summer nights in 2023, we will be offering two surf skate courses specifically for adults.

Beginner Surfskate Course May 2023 : An introduction to surf skating, safety, equipment. This course will set you up with the skills to independently skate and have the basics of speed control and turning dialled.

Intermediate Surfskate Course June 2023 : This courses is for students that can skate already but want to understand better technique to improve their surfing. Whether its learning speed generation properly or the   fundamental skills used in more advanced surfing.

Courses will run Weds 7.30-8.30pm in May and June 2023 in 4 week blocks.

  • Four weeks of a Wednesday evening one hour lesson

  • Wide range of drills
  • No previous experience necessary for beginner course

DURATION

Courses run for 4 lessons. Lessons last ONE hour.

EQUIPMENT

We provide high quality SURFSKATE boards and all safety equipment required to keep you safe. Please bring trainers or skate shoes (similar to Vans/ Converse/ Etnies), a drink and sun protection.

LOCATION

We are based at Belhaven Surf Centre, next to the south side of Belhaven Beach. Surf skate lessons take place at other locations around Dunbar. This can be a short walk, skate or small drive away with locations picked on time of day/ year, weather, size of group and ability.

REQUIREMENTS

Minimum age 17yrs+

GROUP SIZE

Maximum 8 to 1 instructor.

CONDITIONS

In the event of rain or extreme weather we offer rescheduling, voucher or a refund.
