DESCRIPTION We offer fantastic surf camps for families on the stunning west coast islands. These trips allow your family to escape, play, discover and improve your surfing! We encourage both the children and parents to take part! It is a holiday too and if you want time off for relaxation or individual exploration of the islands there are options to do so. The Hebridean experience is wonderful, becoming one with nature, appreciating the stars and a beach fire one night and the white beaches, clear water swimming and great surf the next. Our friendly experienced instructors will keep you stoked each day!

WHATS INCLUDED?  4 days of instruction with two lessons a day. The first lesson of the day is very structured with drills to help you improve while the second class is relaxed practicing what you learn with individual tips. We also offer variety of daily activities. We provide a range of equipment if required on each surf camp.

CV-19 LATEST – Due to CV19 restrictions all our surf adventures are camping this year. All customers travelling to islands must perform two CV19 tests and all families must travel with own vehicles.

"Just back last Saturday from a wonderful experience on a family tour holiday. Would highly recommend it for all levels, even if you haven't been in the water for years! Adam and Josh are really encouraging and so experienced. Short theory intros were extremely informative and in the space of five days you learn to look at the sea in a safer way, with the potential for more future family fun."

Surf Camp Information

Surf camps are 5 days of activities, with two lessons a day. Our team of experienced instructors will make sure you have a great surf adventure.

All participants must be: 7 years old for family camps; 18yrs+ for adult camps. All must be able to swim 50 meters unaided.

We provide all surf equipment if required including top of the range 5mm wetsuit, accessories, soft and hard boards and equipment for all other sports for that surf camp! You are welcome to bring your own boards too. We supply you with an itinerary list of things to bring for your week.

For camping weeks, we expect customers bring their own tents and accessories however we can hire any camping kit for a small extra cost.

On most of our surf weeks we have either lovely accommodation or great campsites with bathroom and shower facilities, beach BBQs and we eat out in a local pub or restaurant at least once.

Occasionally we go off the radar and free camp under the stars - these tours will be identified with a *

Our surf camps are either on Scotland's beautiful North Coast or the Western Isles.

We will update you on exact locations once booking in. For North coast surf camps we react to the surf forecast that week so locations will be picked to give you the best waves that week.

We can arrange free transport if needed from the closest Ferry (west coast) or Train/ Bus Station (North coast). Customers can also car share.

Standard lessons have a max ratio of 1 instructor to 8 pupils and are often supplemented with an extra assistant.

Our staff all have lifesaving or beach lifeguard qualifications, are disclosure checked, and have an ASI or ISA level 1, 2 or 3 instructor qualification.

South East Scotland is one of the UK's best locations to learn to surf with perfect, small beginner waves in Scotland's sunniest location.  Belhaven Beach is one of the best beginner friendly beaches in Scotland.

In the event of no waves, you will be contacted in advance and offered an alternative sport suitable to the weather conditions, such as stand up paddle, coasteering, surf skate or a beginner zero surf class.  Our range of sports means that we can offer an activity in all but the most extreme weather conditions.
