Scottish Surf Camps to stunning destinations

Surf Camp Scotland – Adventure Surf Tours with Coast to Coast

Each year Coast to Coast Surf School heads out to some of the most beautiful and remote beaches in the country for our adult surf camps in Scotland.

These surf tours take us to the west coast islands and the north coast of Scotland. Along the way we explore incredible coastlines, surf uncrowded waves and share the adventure with a small group of like-minded surfers.

Our experienced surf guides lead the trips and provide high quality coaching throughout the week. At the same time, we believe every surf camp should feel like a holiday. You can join at your own pace, enjoy the journey and experience parts of Scotland that very few people ever see.

Surf Coaching and Adventure

A typical surf camp in Scotland includes daily surf sessions in consistent summer waves.

To help develop your surfing we mix water time with a range of training and recovery activities. These may include:

  • Surf skate training

  • Swimming and snorkelling

  • Daily flexibility and mobility sessions

  • Beach games

  • Video analysis of surf sessions

Beyond the training, the trips also have a strong social element. Evenings often involve beach fires, barbecues and relaxed visits to local pubs and cafés.

Many surfers say these moments become the most memorable part of the week.

Why We Keep Locations Secret

One thing that makes our surf camps slightly different is that we do not reveal the exact destinations until after booking.

We introduced this approach over fifteen years ago as part of our no trace policy.

By keeping the locations private, we protect these unique surf spots from overcrowding. It allows both locals and future visitors to continue enjoying quiet beaches and unspoiled environments.

Our Digital No Trace Policy

Our environmental approach also extends to social media.

We ask customers to share photos and stories in a general way rather than revealing specific beaches or surf breaks. For example, posting “surfing somewhere in Scotland” rather than naming the location.

In today’s culture of sharing every experience online, this small step helps protect fragile environments that might otherwise become overwhelmed by tourism.

Because of this approach, many of the beaches we visit remain peaceful and uncrowded even during the summer months.

Leaving the Coast Better Than We Found It

Respect for the coastline is a core part of every trip we run.

We follow a physical no trace policy, which means we aim to leave every location exactly as we found it – or cleaner.

During the summer we regularly collect rubbish from the beaches we visit. It is a small way of giving something back to the landscapes that give us so much.
