Coast to Coast Surf School Supports Environmental Projects
We are delighted to share that your support for Coast to Coast Surf School in 2023 has helped us contribute to two important biodiversity initiatives as part of our ongoing environmental commitments.
Protecting the coastline and the natural environments we surf in is something we care deeply about. Because of this, we continue to support projects that help restore and protect nature in Scotland.
Supporting Trees for Life
This year we have once again supported the Trees for Life rewilding project in the Scottish Highlands.
Thanks to the continued support of our customers, we have added 150 new trees to the Coast to Coast grove. This brings the total number of trees we have planted through the project to almost 1,500 since 2020.
Trees for Life works to restore the Caledonian Forest and create healthier ecosystems across the Highlands.

Supporting Biodiversity at Winterfield Park
In addition to the Highlands project, we are excited to support a local biodiversity initiative this year.
We have made a donation to Friends of Winterfield, a community group helping to improve biodiversity in Winterfield Park, which overlooks Belhaven Beach.
The funding is currently supporting the planting of around 350 tree saplings. These will contribute to new hedges, trees and natural habitats within the park.
Community Tree Planting
Friends of Winterfield have also kindly invited members of the Coast to Coast community – especially younger surfers – to take part in the planting.
This is a great opportunity for people to get involved and build a connection with the natural environment around our local coastline.
The planting event will take place on:
Friday 8th March – Winterfield Park
If you would like to help, simply head down to the park and get involved.

Thank You
Thank you to everyone who supported Coast to Coast Surf School this year. Your continued support helps us contribute to projects that protect and improve the natural environments we all enjoy.
Together we can continue to support both the coastline and the wider Scottish environment.
