Adult Surf Course Dunbar | Coast to Coast Surf School

Improver Surf Course

Lesson Information

Our second level surf course is aimed at adult improvers. In every training session you will learn specific skills required to improve your surfing in the sea. We adapt to the daily surf conditions concentrating on positioning, paddling, gliding, pop up – all soft skills really needed to improve in the sea. We also develop your small wave unbroken waves skills such as speed and turning skills.

Critical to all of this though is surf theory and we set aside time for learning about equipment, surf forecasting, wave and beach analysis so you can start to visualise when, where and what you should be doing to catch more waves successfully in the sea.

  • Improve your surfing skills
  • Understand how to ride waves better
  • Learn to read the ocean
  • Four lessons over four weeks
  • Top quality equipment
  • Experienced Senior Surf Coach
  • Open to adults that are competent in the white water and experimenting with small unbroken waves.
  • Adult surf course Dunbar

We provide four lesson blocks on Mondays April, May and June. We provide a friendly experienced instructor and wetsuits, boards and accessories. All included in the course price.

Minimum age is 18 years old. All participants must be able to swim 50 meters unaided.

4 Monday lessons in block. Each lesson last two hours.

We are based at Belhaven Surf Centre, next to the south side of Belhaven Beach. There’re available hot community showers – £1 coin for one minute.
