After School Club Information
This NEW after school surf club is on a Monday for young improving junior surfers looking to have regular term time surfing at a higher level.
The club runs for 16 weeks in the year – we have broken this down into two summer and two autumn term time blocks of 4 weeks. You can book each 4 week block below. Monday blocks run start at 4.30pm to 6.30pm.
These courses are open to juniors aged 8yrs-16yrs that can already or are just learning to ride unbroken waves. This is not a beginner course. All juniors must be able to swim 50m.
As a regular surf club sessions will cover unbroken wave riding and development skills including land training and theory sessions. All classes will take place at Belhaven unless instructed otherwise. Its important if your junior is keen to continue in the club to remember to keep booking the blocks as the club is open to the public and will be popular.

What's Included
Blocks include four afternoon sessions on Mondays starting 1630-1830. Experienced friendly instructor. We provide top quality wetsuits, boards and accessories.
Requirements
8-16yrs. All participants must be able to swim 50 meters unaided.
Duration
Lessons last two hours. Adventure lessons can sometimes take a little longer if run at non beach locations.
Location
We are based at Belhaven Surf Centre, next to the south side of Belhaven Beach. There’re available hot community showers – £1 coin for one minute.
Group Size
Maximum 8 to 1 instructor.
Weather Conditions
Classes run each week including surf and no surf conditions. In the event of extreme weather we offer class room theory, fitness and land training.
