Belhaven Surf Club

Course Information

The Belhaven Surf Club was established in 2021 as a high performance coaching set up to teach local juniors to a high standard. Currently the club has multiple national champions in longboard and shortboard events and 9 juniors in national squad set ups.

We have three training groups and a max of 24 junior spaces. We try for the club to be equal male/ female.

To join the club set up you must be able to surf unbroken waves to a decent standard. You can be considered by

  • sending video of your surfing to us (max 4 clips inland and sea)
  • doing well in a local or national junior contest and come and speak to our coaches
  • be identified by our club coaches in local lessons or courses with surf school

It is hoped in 2026 to invite adults too into the high performance club.
