Scottish Lowlands Longboard Championships 2023 is back this year.

Surf Event 16th/17th September 2023

Our annual Lowlands Longboarding competition returns!

Get those longboards ready, mark your calendar, and join us for the annual Longboard competition at Belhaven East Lothian! This event isn’t just about winning, it’s all about the vibe, friendship, excellent waves, and building the community. Running for over a decade it is no surprise people look forward to this every year.

We have categories for men, women, and juniors. Each category is designed to bring out the best in our competitors, in a friendly and supportive environment.

Need to sign up? Head over to the SSF to get entered. Don’t surf? That’s totally fine! We encourage everyone to come, enjoy the event, cheer on their friends, and simply have a great time!

Relaxed vibe, open to all. Good waves with friends is the goal!

After Party!

We’re super excited to announce that this year’s Longboard competition doesn’t just end when the sun sets – it continues into the night with the grooviest after-party Dunbar has ever seen!

Dance the night away to the versatile beats spun by our talented DJs, hosted on the renowned @botanicasound sound system. They’ll keep the energy pulsing, the vibes flowing, and make sure it’s a night to remember for everyone!

It’s not only the funkiest night on the horizon, we also have a great deal for our competitors! All competitors get half-price tickets at the door as a token of our appreciation for your participation.

But that’s not all!

We are looking for enthusiastic volunteer artists who are eager to express their creativity and assist us in decking out the hall for the after-party. So, if you have artistic skills and are ready to contribute to making the night truly magical, get in touch with @malcolm_todd124. All ideas and contributions are welcomed!

So, grab your tickets, lace up those dancing shoes, and join us to celebrate the spirit of Longboarding in true Dunbar style!

See you at the beach!
